Caylus is located in southern France, in the Tarn et Garonne, close to the rivers Aveyron, Lot and Tarn. Not far from places like St Antonin Noble Val, Cordes sur Ciel, Albi, St Cirq Lapopie, Villefranche de Rouergue, Penne, Bruniquel, Najac, Caussade, Montauban and slightly further Toulouse and Cahors. The Chateau de Cas is within walking distance, and the Chateau de reine Margot, in Saint Projet at 10 km. You can see exhibitions at the Abbaye de Beaulieu or visit the Abbaye de Loc Dieu. In short, for lovers of medieval towns and castles, there is plenty to see. You can also visit one of the many vineyards in the area (Chateau Maresque), where you can learn about the process of wine making, and of course taste and buy the wines.
